At our Campus to Corporate series, Jiaranai Keatnuxsuo returns to share key insights from her remarkable journey from student life at UWA to the global tech stage. Jiaranai Keatnuxsuo (AI Architect, Microsoft) is a College alumna from 2016-2019, graduating UWA with a Master of Commerce (2017) and a Master of Information Technology (2019). At Microsoft, she translates ambitious AI visions into real‑world impact, most notably founding and leading GovAI, the whole Federal Government AI Initiative.
A multi‑award winner (Women in Technology WA 2019; NASA Space Apps Challenge; Energy Hack; Transport Hack WA; UWA Innovation Challenge) and TEDx speaker, she brings together cloud computing, data, AI and environmental sustainability to empower public‑sector customers. She hosts the Perth Machine Learning Group and serves as Director of Media & Communications for DDD Perth, amplifying collective intelligence across Australia’s tech community.
Outside work, Jia is a thriving endurance athlete, she rode 700 km in four days for Ride for Youth to raise funds and awareness for youth mental health, and sponsors the Net Zero Network WA, championing climate education and sustainability. A multi‑layered, multi‑dimensional contributor, she leverages her diverse experiences to make an impact in many different ways.
